Left-chest logo sizing
The left chest is the most-ordered embroidery spot in our shop. Battle Born Clothing sizes each logo on the proof, but here is how we think about it before you send art.
Common left-chest sizes
| Logo shape | Common width | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wide (text-heavy) | about 3.5 to 4 in | Keep text readable; stack two lines if needed |
| Square or round | about 3 in | Reads well on polos and jackets |
| Tall | about 2.5 to 3 in tall | Watch collar and placket clearance |
Size drives stitch count
A bigger logo usually means more stitches. Our base price covers up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each extra 1,000 adds $2.00 at 1-11 down to $0.50 at 80+. We show the count on the proof so the price is never a surprise.
Garment notes
Polos
Placed about halfway between the shoulder seam and the bottom of the placket.
Jackets and soft shells
Zippers and seams move the logo slightly. We check placement for each style.
Hoodies
Left chest sits above the pocket. Full-front designs are a different job and often better as a screen print.

Questions
Can the same logo go on hats and shirts?
Often a cap version is digitized separately because hat fronts are curved and smaller. Each design file is $18.99 once.
What file should I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) are best. A 300 dpi PNG works too.
