What is digitizing and why does it cost $18.99?
Digitizing turns your logo into a stitch file. It is done by hand, once per design. We keep the file, so reorders do not pay it again.
What artwork should I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) are best. A 300 dpi PNG works. Send what you have and we will tell you if it needs work.
Do I get a proof first?
Yes. Every job gets a digital proof with size, placement, thread colors and stitch count before anything is stitched.
What if you make a mistake?
If the error is ours, we redo it free.
Do you embroider Carhartt, Nike and OGIO?
Yes. Battle Born Clothing is an authorized decorator for Carhartt, Nike and OGIO. Those garments are quoted per job with brand pricing respected.
Can I send my own garments?
Yes. Customer-supplied goods are $2 per item handling plus embroidery. Plan on the industry-standard 4% spoilage allowance; we aim for zero.
Do you make leather patch hats?
Yes. We have engraved leather patches in-house since 2020 on an 80-watt CO2 laser. Patches are $8.00 each at 1-23 down to $4.00 at 192+, plus the hat. Sewn adds $4 to $6.
Do bigger logos cost more?
Over 6,000 stitches, each extra 1,000 adds $2.00 per piece at 1-11 down to $0.50 at 80+. The stitch count is on your proof.
Do mixed styles count toward one tier?
Yes. Tiers are counted on the whole order with the same logo, across styles and colors.
Do you charge per thread color?
No. Embroidery is priced by stitch count and quantity.
Do you do 3D puff embroidery?
Yes. Puff is quoted per design.
Do you make woven patches?
No. We do direct embroidery and laser-engraved leather patches.
